We all need to start paying more attention to our water use and the chemicals we put back into it.

Good Morning Georgina

Thanks for the post and pics. I live on Long Island and this is a constant concern especially with the use of fertilizers and pesticides. Communities and conservation groups have been working to protect this limitted and precios resource. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

Hi Georgina - Here in semi-arid Colorado, we think about water all the time. We're totally dependant on snow melt and always only a couple of bad years away from a drought situation. The good news is that we're pretty much at the top of the watershed, so our water quality, and taste, are excellent.

Right now in Bastrop we are under water restrictions.  We all need to learn how to conserve!

Thanks for the feedback.  It's scary to hear what is being found in city water these days!  Yes we all need to be more careful of what we dispose of in our systems, and we need to be more mindful of our usage too.

I think the water for NYC comes from the Hudson Valley in upstate, they provide most of the water for the NYC area.
