I guess the animals have a lot to say! I hope your itching goes away!
I will take that 'peace and quiet' over the city any time. ;-)
Hope you guys aren't havin gthe West Nile virus problems like we are.
Good Morning Valerie, That looks so pleasant and I yearn for some time to just sit outdoors and take it all in. Thanks for sharing this little piece of nature with me.
Valerie,
Good morning! I guess communing with nature can be a little noisy, but, if we take the time to just look at our surroundings and enjoy its beauty, the noise can sometimes fade away.
Here in Texas we are dealing with the deadly West Nile Virus. Very scary and will definitely keep one indoors.
Next time you go to the cottage bring along your bee-keepers suit when you go for strolls. That should keep the biting critters away. I'm one of those lucky types that rarely gets bitten when I'm outside, maybe my blood is too sour for them.
It sure sounds as if you are having fun! Don't let the bedbugs bite, too!
Hello Valerie. See what happens when you continue to focus on Cottage Living......
Valerie, I am looking forward to it. Who knows.....maybe we will even play then.
Valerie, Nature is good, bug bites are not good! Two days ago my husband got stung by a bee....he's hasn't stopped letting us know that it hurts and swells. My daughters are cracking up that he's such a baby!
I don't like bugs....the cottage life would only work for me if we treated the property with some very strong chemicals first! We haven't had to deal with mosquitos the last two years and I want to keep it that way.
Sheila: Nothing is beating my first summer not working since I was 15.
Ellen: I have had a bee bite and it isn't pretty. There really is a lot more pain than a mosquito bite.
Sharon: Biting bugs are not my favourite. Sadly, I am very allergic and every bite takes up to 2 weeks to calm the itch. Normally I just scratch until I have broken the skin. Even then, they itch through the wound.
