A NEW INVESTOR FOUND ME VIA ACTIVE RAIN - WOO HOO!
This really is not just one of those posts to shout out the kudos of Active Rain. Rather it is to encourage those who haven't yet seen the fruits of their labor! If you have not seen a referral as a result of your blogging efforts, hang in there.
While on vacation last week, I received a call from a number and area code that I did not recognize. The gentleman introduced himself as an Investor and that he had been following my blogs for awhile. He has been interested in investing in homes in this area due to our local climate. He remarked that he enjoyed reading my blog and could see that I know the area as well as the market.
Because I was away on vacation, I asked him to email me his contact information and that I would be in touch with him upon my return. He sent me his information and I have now been in touch with him and we are on our way to finding him properties that will work in his portfolio. I am pleased to now have a new client who will be purchasing many properties over time.
Active Rain is effective in reaching new clients! I have had much success as a blogger through this site and cannot begin to say "thank you" enough to those within AR who have helped me along the way. Two years ago I had never even written a blog post and today I am reaping the blogging benefits!
Consistent blogging, dedication and perseverance will bring you the business through your blogging efforts. Don't give up and keep on blogging! Those phone calls will be coming in!
