Cooper CityI am a Cooper City resident, and I have to say one of the biggest selling points of the city is the amazing public schools it offers. We have some of the finest public schools in Broward County, and parents all over the county know this and flock to our city.


Our Commissioner Jeff Green pinpointed that our schools are so wonderful because we have dedicated school professionals and lots of parental involvement.  He goes on to encourage all parents who can to join their school's PTA; in a world with very limited resources, PTA's make all the difference in the world. Of course there are many parents just simply can't due to other responsibilities, but offering any type of help when you can is always appreciated. As a parent, you get the added benefit of enhancing your quality of life by enhancing the quality of life for others!

Gretchen, I think so too. It's getting so much harder for the teachers without the funding they used to receive, so parent involvement is super important right now.
