How To Win In The Real Estate Business - Just Do It!
Do you have it? I believe I do! No, I know I have it! This video clip is spot on, and I highly recommend you take a few minutes to listen to it. If you can't sit still, work on another blog while you are listening to his speech. Super inspiring, solid truth! Can this guy run for president?
How To Win In Business
A friend of mine passed along a video to me today that I hadn't seen in a few years. The video features Art Williams and the video has to be from the mid-eighties but, the message still holds true to this day. I read his Wikipedia page and found some interesting info on him. He founded AL Williams and Associates which is now Primerica Financial Services and, according to Wikipedia, he is one of the top 1000 richest men in the world.
What is so special about this guy is his delivery and his "average, every day guy" mentality. I think you'll sense that in the video. Click to the right to watch the video.
Here are a few highlights from the video that I believe you can apply to your real estate business.
- Find a need.
- Fill a need for the consumer.
- You must have a market.
- You must have someone to sell your product or service to.
- There must be something unique about you.
- And, as Art himself says, " a very unique kind of mental toughness".
One cool thing he says is that in your business you "might have everything 99% right, but if you don't possess that 1% uniqueness then you are likely to fail". And I think that still holds true to this day.
But THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT thing that he says is you must have heart to succeed. His exact words, "No one has ever designed a test that will measure the heart of a person - the key to winning is what is inside a person - integrity, character and people abilities...."
If you are struggling in business or in your personal life then this is a must watch video....it will most certainly pick you up a bit.
As he says, "Become a dreamer again!"
Enjoy,
Duncan
