I was recently at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and saw this magnificent buck in a cemetery which is just down the street. I was really amazed to see him there enjoying the big city.

Anna, It is good to be back -- I've made a few trips, been up in the mountains and trying to finish my Mom's house. I hope to leave for Latin America about November.

Adrian, Thank you. I was thrilled to find him and be able to walk up close enough to get some interesting photos -- I'll be posting a few more of the deer.

Kristin, Thank you. I think the fact that he is still in the velvet really added to the photo so I was thrilled to find him at the right time. Later this fall I will see if I can find him and get some photos without the velvet.
