'There's no use trying,' said Alice 'one can't believe impossible things.'
'I daresay you haven't had much practice,' said the Queen. 'When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.'
- Lewis Carroll, Through the Looking Glass
The above photograph was taken while dining at the H2O Restaurant in Battle Creek, Michigan. The view is of Goguac Lake, one of the most popular lakes in the area. Cereal Magnates W.K. Kellogg and C.W. Post often took their families to the beach along the shores of Lake Goguac in the summer. The lake is a rich aspect of the history of the Battle Creek area.
One can dine at H2O and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. If one has a house boat, you can pull up to the dock and order food right from the restaurant. Menus will be brought to you by the wait staff, and you can order without leaving the comforts of your boat.
Goguac Lake has some of the most wonderful real estate in Battle Creek, and if offers condos and homes along the shores. The lake is an all sports lake, and the largest in the city limits. One could drive through Battle Creek and not know this beautiful lake is here. It stands as one of those 'Impossible things' someone imagined sometime many years ago.
