Topics Almost Guaranteed to be a Featured Post; And those NOT! - Revisited!
I thought this was definitely worth a reblog. And, if I follow the advice given here, I might actually get more than 3 comments and a whole lot of clicks. Please thank the author and not me! This was smart and funny.
Topics Almost Guaranteed to be a Featured Post; And those NOT! - Revisited!

One of the examples I gave of posts not getting many comments was lead generation. And it happened this week:

But in my original post of topics that will get featured and get comments I omitted one that really struck a nerve last week:

Hit a Realtor pocket or pocketbook and a post goes viral!
So I will ask the question again. Do we blog to educate the public and attract buyer & seller leads or do we blog complain and feel sorry for ourselves?
But I am not delusional and don't expect many comments on this post either.

Topics Almost Guaranteed to be a Featured Post and get lots of comments. And those NOT!
These will surely get you comments and maybe featured:
1.Can you believe what this buyer did or offered?
2.Would you believe what my seller asked me to do?
3.Can you believe what the other Realtor® wanted?
4.Is this cosmetic or what? It is only a collapsed roof that does not leak!
5.Have you ever seen such an inspection? Guaranteed at least one roach picture!
6.Can you believe this short sale bank?
7.Can you believe I missed this deal? From the Realtor who works 9-4, 3 days a week, except for 2 months vacation cruises per year without a cell phone!

Well, since this post was mostly about the second list, I learned more about posting and what doesn’t work.I avoided prospecting by “blogging” for leads instead, and did not learn a darn thing while doing this!!!
So I won’t be featured or get many comments but…….
I guess I am a Realtor®!!! And I have a blog!
Warning if you comment on the first list, I rest my case! If you don't comment...well read the second list again! lol
