As I see it . . . . . . .

Know when not to listen

We continually engage in self-talk and we seem to have a running dialog running in the background of your subconscious mind.

You can talk yourself do something in a blink of an eye that can enhance your life and career. You can also talk yourself into a very compromising situation that you would like to forget about.

The way you think will have a big influence on your self-talk.

A person with a positive attitude and outlook will normally engage in positive self-talk. That self-talk with keep their enthusiasm at a high level and their will drive them into action with passion.

They believe in themselves and in their ability. They also set high standards and believe that they will be succeed

When a person has a negative outlook of life their self-talk is a reflection of their outlook. Their self-talk will be negative and they will look at things from the prospective of I can’t, I won’t, it won’t work and why should I even try. Their world revolves around a negative outlook and their self-talk makes things worst.

A big factor in what you achieve in life is based in your self-talk. At times negative self-talk can come into your thoughts and unless they are removed and they will become part of your thinking process and take over your self-talk.

One of long term keys success is to know when not to listen to your negative self-talk.

Even postive people must monitor their thoughts. Just switch the channel and keep moving forward.

Sometimes it's not so easy to "not listen" to that little voice in your head, but it can be done.

Positive self talk certainly can change outlook on a situation, and it is something I try to engage in also.
