Richard, you are so right. When I am pulled from my target I try to keep the original target in my sight, but it isn't always easy!
Focus...maintaining the goal in sight always is key. Sometimes as real estate agents our job as seller's agent is to remind the seller to focus on the goal and not the iterations that do happen!
Hi Richard, Agreed,,, it is very easy to become distracted. Keeping our purpose (our "Big Why") on the top of our mind will help us stay focused. Beautiful picture!
Richard, so very true! I am working with a business coach to build a company, and build some business. I recently wrote a blog on the topic - WHY. They WHY leads to the VISION leads to the MISSION. Good stuff!

Staying focused requires dedication, and it may not be easy but the rewards are worth it!
Good one Richard. I often feel like I need to be tied to the goal and pull myself toward it as it drifts down stream.

Richard ~ Some ancillary tangents in my day are people who are being paid to help me get to the goal, telling me why they can't do their part. Focus and perservere are right on.
Richard this is so true and so timely on this Monday when I am struggling to remain focused. I wrote a to do list and that is my road map today. It will set me up for the remainder of the week.
Staying focused on goals is such an important thing for us to do in life and in business. And being sure we have common goals with the ones we are in personal or private relationships with is criticial.
In my world they are uttered at closing when the closer says done and I see a smile on my clients face!
