Neither the Home Owner nor the Real Estate Agent have any control over whether or not the Bank of America customer service representative does what they say they are going to do! Guess what sparked this rant?
Yep, you guessed it! The customer service did not put in a request to open up the short sale process. Not only that, but the customer service rep I just talked to said I didn't ask for one to be opened up. And the name of the process? Open Home Saver Request Does that sound like a short sale?
So, what does it mean when a real estate agent sends in a full hardship package with all the required documents and an offer on the property?
You know., if I've said it once I have said it a hundred times, Bank of America has made more progress on their short sale process than any bank I have worked with for the past 5 years, and... I have meant it. It is still not perfect, but better than it was.
