You never know and should always be prepared. I've been working out my guns during my fitter and firmer class but this looks like something I need to check out. Thanks for the heads up Kristine!
Hi Kerrie, you have the guns, now you need to know how to use them. lol! Kristine
Kim & Kristine - It is good to learn self defense techniques. For example, I don't feel confortable holding open house alone. Excellent blog.
Hi John, it's great to have support for women's self defense. Thank you! Kristine
Self defense techniques are useful tools, but they should never be thought of as the end all, be all, to self defense. The use of these tools must be ingrained into your very core. They must become instictual and without thought. In addition, you must believe in yourself and your right to be safe, respected, and valued, wholeheartedly. Others have power over us only when we grant it.
This is a great post, and a reminder to all of us to get to a self-defense class! You never know when we may need it!
Leslie, you are so sharp, mind body connection is the ultimate. The instructor is very skilled in it. His website, www.theappliedphilosopher.com has great articles.
