Home Stager with Shaken...with a Twist 216.633.2092

Some days you've got "it", some days, you is a don't day.

The problem is, I'm not quite sure what "it" is, but whatever "it" is, I don't have "it" today.

Or maybe I do have "it" and just don't know "it".

I'm going with I'm feeling under the weather and I'm sticking to "it".  Nothing is really wrong and I'm not feeling sick, but nothing is really right either and I don't feel like doing a damn thing today.

Good thing I don't have anything important planned for today.

Went back to bed after writing my post earlier this morning and commenting on a few, I just may spend the better part of the day there and hang out with all of you nice folks another time.

Good morning Roger,

We all get this type of day once in awhile, enjoy a cup of tea or cocoa and a good movie or book - a little "downtime" will do wonders for you!

Rog - I'm having one of those days, too.  Woke up with a massive migraine, and am operating on a 1 out of 10 scale.  Sometimes you can't fight how you feel, but just give in to it.  Eat a box of chocolates while enjoying one of your favourite movies.  Hopefully, we'll both be back up and running tomorrow.

Thanks to all of you for stopping by and commenting today.  It really was an off day, just didn't feel right at all.  Like I said earlier, nothing wrong, but nothing seemed right either.  After reading all of the comments, I checked my biorhythms as suggested by Debb and posted the charts below.  I don't know anything about biorhythms, but according to the charts, mine for emotional intellectual and physical are way down today.......all at -100%.  As for wisdom,  passion and mastery, they are all between 0% and -100%, whatever that means................with wisdom being the lowest with passion not too far behind.

All I can tell you for sure is other than going to the post office today to mail something to the Social Security Office, I did nothing.  At around 2 p.m. I crawled back into bed and just got out about half an hour ago.

Not much on the agenda for this evening.  I am going to hit the shower, make myself a little something/something for dinner and probably just relax.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feelings with me.......................and for all of the good wishes.

First of does one check their biorhythms??   I have those kind of days more often than I care to admit....crawling back into bed/never getting out of the jammies days are fine if it's really snowy or rainy outside.  It's like a snow day when you are a kid and school gets canceled.  If it's bright and sunny I feel too guilty and feel that "I should be doing something" feeling.

Roger~ I can relate.  I've been having a few days like that myself.  Mine actually landed me in the hospital, so if it continues, see your doc. Just sayin.

Good idea to lay low when it's an "off" day, Roger.  Today I was dragging too and didn't have my usual energy.  I longed to be able to take a nap but it wasn't possible because I had to de-stage a sold home.

OK I've now checked out the biorhythm chart link above ... and found out something VERY interesting.  In all 6 of the  levels, mine were ALL at or very close to -100%.  No wonder I wasn't feeling up to par!  Now I've bookmarked that site, thanks to Debb!

Roger - down days are for recharging; sometimes you just have to go with what your inner child is telling you and take a day off.
