Help Them Sell the Contents - The House Will Follow

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Estates On Line

I have yet to come across a homeowner who didn't have a ton of stuff to sell when moving. Anybody - let's see a show of hands - anyone out there who hasn't heard a homeowner say something like "........I need to sell my diningroom/kitchen/livingroom/bedroom/.......etc" before I sell the house?

Anyone got their hand up? You, in the back, oh, you just had to leave the room? Ok, anyone else? I don't see anyone else's hand up. Well, then, we have a general consensus that every Realtor (I don't know where that little circle R is, so just imagine it's there - don't be offended). Come to think of it, Circle R sounds like a ranch, doesn't it? Anyway, we have a general consensus that every Realtor(CircleR) knows that EVERY person selling their home needs to sell the contents!

This is powerful stuff!! If I'm looking for clients and I know what my prospective client needs before he knows he (ladies, please read he/she here at the CircleR) needs it, I can use that knowledge to turn prospective clients into actual clients.

Eureka - Watson, come here, I need you! (Aka - great discovery!). Does anyone out there advertise they can help homeowers sell their stuff? (maybe just take the pix)? Anyone? Not too many hands up in the room. In my town, there's not one Realtor CircleR ad that says "I help homeowners sell their stuff". How 'bout in your neck of the woods?

Try it in your next ad. Costs you nothing!

I know what you're thinking - eBay, right? eBay has tons of stuff for sale, but frankly, not too much of it sells (sort of like real estate, right?), especially household items. But if you've gained a client (listing) because you're a broker who helps (prospective) clients list their stuff on-line, you've accomplished your goal of signing a new listing!

There's an alternative to selling stuff on eBay. Sell the stuff on estates on line (www.estates-on-line.com) . Not only is it free, but it's the #1 site on the web for selling estate property (Google: "sell estate property") And all the stuff is uploaded to Google search automatically, so people can find it all over the web, so it just might sell - and your CLIENT won't have all those eBay fees.

Now go get 'em.
