As many of you know, I love pinterest. I keep finding more and more ways to use it to help my business.

Well this afternoon I went to meet with a repeat customer. We just sanded and stained her floors ebony and they look gorgeous. I found a nice wool carpet for her bedroom (hopefully, she will give us the go ahead on Monday...she is moving in over the weekend).
But, unfortunately, I was not able to find a runner for her yet. (Sometimes finding a runner is one of my hardest jobs as it can be very taste specific). I brought a lot of samples, but none were quite right. She started to describe what she liked, but couldn't quite do it in words. She said, "let me show you." Have you heard of this new site called Pinterest??? I almost gasped. I was so happy because of course I knew it. And, then she showed me her boards and items/designs/fabrics that she pinned that she liked. It really helped me to understand what she is looking for...both style wise and color wise.
So, I had her follow me and I'm following her back. Tonight, I'm going to create a new board for her, so I can pin ideas there for her and she can look at them and tell me what she likes. And then from there, I can meet w/ her again to find a good solution for her.
