Up sold twice in the same day-- what a crock

Good morning Rob. Bummer hey? I guess this goes to lesson learned. It is just part of the culture. Have a better day today.

Hate being upsold without a warning............brings me to the "height of pissosity"................

Hate it. I hate it more when I don't figure it out till later! How about upselling commissions? Oh, you want a smooth closing? That will be X$ more please!!

Wow have been there myself.  Hate it but unfortunately its out there and sooner or later it will hit us all again.

Pisstivity is on my list now.................have at it!

"ultimate pisstivity"....I love that! And I so agree....when they ask if you want Blue Cheese or Ranch with the wings and say both you are charge extra without being told and blah, blah, blah. 

A few weeks ago my husband and I were in Spokane and stopped to eat at Shari's on North Division. It was somewhere between breakfast and lunch, so I ordered a Sandwich and he ordered waffles. The waitress asked if I'd prefer regular fries, curly fries, or onion rings. I thought onion rings sounded good for a change.

Then she asked if he wanted the whipped cream and strawberries - that were shown in the picture with the waffles. He said "of course."

When the bill came, we were charged $1.50 extra for the onion rings and a couple dollars more for the whipped cream and strawberries. The server had NOT mentioned an extra charge for either.

I was peeved, to say the least. But after we paid and drove away I got to thinking. What if I had been someone who had no credit cards and only enough money in my pocket to cover what we had ordered plus the tax? What would they have done then?

Upcharges with no warning are just plain WRONG.

Something to be said about "Buyer Beware." This not the way to encourage repeat and referral business.
