Austin Active Rain Meet-up! Thursday August 30th, 2012

Well...it's time again for a meet-up of Central Texas, Active Rain bloggers! This will be an open gathering and anyone is welcome, whether you are an AR member or not! It's a great way to meet folks who are blogging at Active Rain in person and see what we are like in person! If past meetings are any indication, this is also excellent opportunity  to network, exchange ideas and learn more about agents and Brokers who are active in Austin area.

Even if you are NOT a member but are curious about blogging or anything social media related, you should attend. It's been my experience that most of the people you will meet are happy to share their knowledge and experience and frankly, if you are not socially engaged online, you have a LOT of catching up to do! It's an easy relaxed group and the dialog is always interesting and informative!

Please consider joining us at the new Central Location for one of Austin's coolest new Burger Bars, Hopdoddy Burger Bar , located at 2438 West Anderson Lane , it's an excellent spot for everyone traveling from either North OR South Austin! And...if you are not familiar with Hopdoddy's uber wild burgers you need to check this place out! The location on South Congress in  Austin's Soco District  has pretty much always had a line out the door since opening. We will be there from 11:30am until 1:00pm so you can come and go as you please. Drop by, meet some new people, say hello to old friends and enjoy a gourmet burger while learning more about interesting local real estate Bloggers AND Blogging!

Active Rain Meet-up...Up Date!

Though only four were able to make it to our meet up, but what a great group. It was an excellent time and we stayed for an hour and a half talking about just about anything you can imagine. It was good to visit  and one of the best things you will learn about Austin Real Estate Bloggers is that we are extremely diverse and frankly, it's always interesting and fun to get together. I actually received 14 RSVP emails from folks not able to make it due to end of month closings and even... Rain Camp which is certainly understandable. With all of the interest, we are going to meet again in the near future but in the middle of a month when more folks can attend. Look for a post and I hope to see y'all there next time!
