One of the advantages to living in the Northern Virginia area, is there is always something to do. We have wonderful Restaurants, National Parks, Washington DC, Baseball, Football and so much more.
If you are looking for a short, one day trip for you and/or your family/friends, then I would urge you travel to Luray, Virginia and tour the Luray Caverns. I have been there multiple times and have never become tired of the tour. In fact, if you take the route through Sperryville, you will enjoy the drive through the Country in getting there.

When I was a traveling sales manager, one of my favorite states to visit was Virginia. Love the many things to see and do, and i especially like the wealth of cultural and community events.
