I recently was working with a customer that wanted to refi his loan he had us to a lower interest rate due to the recent drop in rates... after reviewing his numbers, he was at a low LTV and had about 800,000 in equity... at age 74 I thought we could help him use that equity more wisely... I contacted a friend at US Bank Investments and he confirmed my idea... US Bank could guarantee a 6 percent return... in addition last year the average return was 9.33... I advised my customer that I would like to discuss this with him and his accountant (who he trusts and has worked with for the past 30 years)... the accountant also confirmed the idea and said he has other clients he would me to speak to... bottom line we took a loan from 400,000 to 875,000... best of luck to all... and if you would like more info on this please don't hesitate to write or call, I would be happy to share.

I might have done this as a reverse mortgage but be that as it may you helped the client so good for you. People do not realize all the work we do that we do not get paid for

That you Charlie... one of the main reasons I didn't not do reverse mortgage was high front end costs... my total fees on the front were 2000.00... and you are so right about what we do for our customers...
