Beauty berry

The photo is of a very common weed in our area.  It is found throughout the forests and vacant land.

This one is new to our back yard.  In all the years we have been here, it has not!

When I sighted it a few days ago it seemed to be a welcome sight.  Not that it is particularly pretty, but it does have bright purple berries.

I can only guess where it came from.  It really does not matter.  What does matter is that it stands out from the other plants in that part of the yard.

What do you do to stand out from all the competition in your area?  Is it outstanding production?  Clever ads?  Lots of referral traffic?

In the current market, each of us needs a niche.  Working on finding an outstanding part of our business to dominate should be a definite priority as we head into year end.

Ralph and Jeanne, those gorgeous purple berries really do attract your attention. We suggested this because it is a thought provoking blog and you're right, we must stand out in an industry where everyone claims to do the same as the next agent!

I stand out from others in my area, because of my blogging. People recognize me as the lady who blogs.

Hi Jeanne and Ralph,

I think this weed is beautiful and I wish I had it growing in my yard. I have a little weed groundcover that has tiny yellow flowrs so I tend to leave it when it pops up. Mine is not nearly as pretty as yours. Thanks for sharing.

Now, this is a work of art.

This photo should be framed and hang on the wall.

Thank you for sharing.
