Vincent Van Gogh Would Be So Jealous, he painted several different versions of sunflowers so I tried a few different photo edited versions of this photo I took yesterday. I used iPiccy to create these versions. iPiccy is one of the easiest editing programs to use, it’s totaly free and you don’t have to register. I prefer it to Ribbet which as far as I’m concerned never reached the potential of Picnic. IPiccy has so many different editing tools.

This one is the original one that I edited for sharpness and added a frame and my name to. One of the most important edits you can and should do is to sharpen your picture a bit. It brings out the vitality of the subject; especially with views. Don’t over sharpen because you can end up with snow all over the picture. I see a lot of pictures posted that make me itch to use a sharpness edit on them; they would look so much more interesting.

Sunflower framed

This one I edited in Weave for fun; I like it.

Sunflower weave

This is a neon edit. Neon is cool because you can choose your color;
this one is red neon.

Sunflower neon

This edit version is Shine.

I use iPiccy for collages too now. It has great choices.

And it is so easy to add your copyright to the photo in iPiccy but that's the next lesson.

IPiccy is not a download program, you use it on the internet; there is an option for storage on your computer; and, did I mention, it's free.

I bet Vincent would be so jealous of our photo editing programs.

I love Sunflowers..did you know they are the official flower of Kansas? I know this because a boyfriend from Kansas gave them to me once.

Thanks Toni, Vincent is jealous, not just because you could paste another ear or two onto him but your sunflowers look much better especially with the weaves, neon, and other effects.

Tone,  I'm sure Van Gough would go crazy with the  editing possibilities on a computer and the web!  I'm looking forward to seeing your blog about copywriting photos.  Thanks!
