I stumbled across a really neat ap that takes amazing 360 panoramic photos with your phone or iPad. It's called 360 Panorama (is it uncool to say "duh") and it's an affordable 99 cent app.
What's so different about it? First ~ it's simple. I've tried TourWrist and the result looks awful. Could be operator error, but not a simple app since you have to line up the images. With 360 Panorama, the camera does the lining up for you. You just stand in one spot and spin slowly around.
The end result is very good (I think I need a little practic slowing down)...but here's the thing. While the 360 tour on a computer is good, if you open it on an iPad or phone...well that's when it knocks your socks off. There's a little icon in the lower left hand corner that allows the 360 to be manipulated just by moving your device and makes you feel like you're there. Want to see the sky? Tilt the device up. Want to see the ground...well, you get my drift.
(I created this cool image of the home with the same App!)
Here's a link to the 360. Try opening it on your phone or iPad. http://360.io/7RhftF But take off your socks first.
