Many are surely on the fence about what they should or shouldn't do before they sell.  I wish many more would allow me to see their home before they make changes....some of the changes in  some cases should be changed again....painting is the biggest culprit.

My feeling is that if you need to fix it, then fix it.  Now, if we are talking about renovation or home improvement that's another story... in those cases it may be fine to proceed with your project, just be careful not to over-improve!
