Make your own bread video

Ingredients for 6 loaves;

5 cups of whole milk, warmed to about 95 degrees

one stick of butter, melted

one tablespoon of salt

1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/4 cup of honey

yeast, 3 packets of dried yeast or if you're lucky to get it, 2 oz. fresh yeast

mix, then add dry ingredients

3 cups of oat flour

3 cups of steel cut oatmeal

3 cups of whole wheat flour

7 cups of white bread flour

combine all and let double in bulk

divide and put in greased pans

let it rise again till double in bulk

bake in pre-heated oven 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.  remember each oven is different.

Ken, my mom used to make her own dough and bread. My wife finds it much easier to get prepared dough at the market. After a while even Mom thought it tasted better

Good morning Ed;  If you have food allergies and can't eat the store brand, making it yourself solves the problem.  Also, absolutely no one makes the bread that I make, another problem solved.
