Here are four facts about the Union County marketplace in April to June 2012.

• The second quarter single family median closed price was $199,999, up 14.2% over the first quarter and up 5.8% over the 2011 median price.
• The townhomes and condominium median price was $117,250, also the highest price since 2010.
• New construction represented almost 20% of all closings during the quarter.
• Almost 30% of closings during the quarter were distressed sales.
