My husband was watching this on TV-congratulations. That's exciting for the children and the community.
What a thrill for those young men. It will be something they will never forget, never mind learning what it takes to be a successful team

Michelle - It's very exciting. I grew up a Cubs fan so I already like baseball. My husband got me watching these kids and it's been great. Very exciting games!
This will change some of these young men's lives. What they're learning about sportsmanship is priceless!

Lou - They don't seem to be fairing as well against Japan today. But you know what they say!
Kathy - I just saw on Facebook that Goodlettesville is planning a huge homecoming for them tomorrow. People will line the streets to greet them. Very exciting.
Very nice showing for the TN team. Lorenzo Butler is an awesome player. One of the umpires went to high school with me. His wife kept eveeryone updated on Facebook with what time he was umpiring, etc. It was interesting to watch the games. Such good sportsmanship and talent.
Watched yesterdays game and oh boy was it a nail bitter and then today was such a disappointment. They played hard, but with their best pitchers being used up yesterday, they didn't stand much of a chance against Japan.
Heard about this game tonight. 24-16 is a lot of runs in one game. Congrats and good luck to Tennessee.

Todd - That Japanese pitcher was incredible. I'm not sure they stood much of a chance against him.
Tom - That was Saturday's game. It was great. They're still the US Champions, just not the world champs!

It was fun to see, and somewhat surprising at the size of players from Japan. They had a lot of fun.

Larry - I don't normally watch this type of thing, but I really enjoyed it. That pitcher was scary huge!
