Thanks for another important message!
Every time Debe shares her thoughts, we all have an opportunity to learn. Imagine having one of your own vendors be so careless with private information!
I encourage all my wonderful post-readers to go to the original post and REBLOG so as many folks as possible will get the news.
Have a happy day -
If you've ever used www.House-Hunting.com to market your listings, please read...
Imagine the horror when I did an innocent Google search of one of our company email addresses and found my credit card information on PAGE 1 of GOOGLE from this company. Below is a screenshot of a sample of page after page of the information--I covered the CREDIT CARD INFORMATION that IS STILL there for the world to see. I downloaded the page to send them and found that they are sharing with the world 54 pages of their clients' credit card information and personal information.
About two months ago, our credit card company notified us of suspicious activity on our account. We had no idea how anyone had gotten our card information but, we cancelled the card and went through the process of notifying our vendors to change our credit card information on file with them.
I have YET to hear back from House-Hunting.com following my demand to correct this problem. So, I strongly encourage you to...Contact House-Hunting.com at firstname.lastname@example.org IMMEDIATELY! As well, if you haven't already, contact your bank to cancel this card and have them issue you another one right away!
