The Zoo comes to you in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Bears, deer, moose, elk, raccoon, fox, even skunks are often seen on a regular basis living in Steamboat Springs. I remember 8 years ago when I moved here we saw 2 black bears in our backyard the first day.  Later that week I drove through Yellowstone and remember being stuck in a huge traffic jam while people looked at a couple bears about 100 yards away. Don't get me wrong, Yellowstone is an awesome place, but living in Steamboat Springs, the zoo often comes to you. This was taken from my backyard recently. Yes, it does take some time to adjust, but now it's pretty cool.

Though rare, with reduced hunting, black bears can even be seen now 30 miles from the White House :-)
