Gary - I've found many times that one thing leads to another and you gained something you needed without even realizing it. This is a great story illustrating just that point. I will always do my best to not listen to that negative voice, but continue to P.U.S.H. Very inspiring story!
Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing this gem of wisdom
P.U.S.H Pray Until Something Happens
Absolutely! But, pray while pushing!
God helps those that help themselves.

Good afternoon Gary,
As always your message is very inspiring! Thank you for sharing with all of us :).
yes this has been more and more needed in our world this year, been some very tough times. please pray for us too
Love it! P.U.S.H! Obedient is a hard thing to do. Love the story.
Nice post... Thanks for sharing... Have a Happy Day
Great story. Continual prayer gets the job done. Just because the Lord didn't 'answer' (at least not how and WHEN you wanted) doesn't mean your prayers aren't being heard and answered!
Gary, what an excellent spiritual post. Thank you!
Excellent post. All things begin and end with prayer and obedience. Not to be argumentative, as someone stated "God helps those who...", I'm not sure where that falacy began, but it's not scriptural or right. God never helps those who help themselves. He only helps those who know it can't be done without Him. I understand the gist of what the statement means and we should do all we can do at times, but we still need to not labor in vain and only do what His will is in our lives. We often times do way more than God intends and often do much more harm than good because of it. Thanks Gary.
