Why are ActiveRain Meet-ups always a good timeWhy are ActiveRain Meet-ups always a good time? If you have attended just one AR meet-up I’d love to hear your answer. Mine, who better to listen and look up to than the people who are successful and so willing to share as those here on AR? Real estate is a tough business full of competitors who are both inside and outside our own offices. Some are good, some not so much and then there are those who are great. I believe they are great because of their willingness to share and embrace each other and not hold up a stop sign or stamp the file top secret. It’s in the sharing that we ourselves are allowed to grow and flourish as individuals.

At the Maryland AR Meet-up in Ellicott City I had the pleasure of seeing some old friends, Bridget Mc Gee, Margaret Rome, Martha Brown and Rich Iarossi and making a few new ones, Andrea Bedard who I met at a previous AR Meet-up but today we had the chance to meet and talk, what a pleasure, Steve & Jan Bachman were much more light hearted than they appear in this horrible photo, I hope you can forgive me. I had such a wonderful time I almost forgot to take pictures, notice the bite out of my delicious sandwich. So I’m sharing the few I have.

I wish I had taken advantage of the opportunity and met a few others who attended, Lenn Harley, Ellie McIntire and a handful of others who honestly I did not catch their names. 19 AR Members in attendance, that speaks volumes of our hostess Margaret & Martha. Thanks ladies for bringing us all together!

Diane, It sounds like you had a great time. The restaurant also looked like a fun place. If anyone out there know of Meet-ups in Metro Phoenix I would like to go and meet other Rainer's. It has to be a good my to open dialogues and network an area.
