11 Comments on Wordless Wednesdays: Everyone Needs A Few Moments By The Sea In Maine
I can't believe I haven't been anywhere near the coast all summer. :(
It's interesting what a calming effect the seashore can have on one's psyche. Unless you happen to be in the path of a hurricane!!
BEAUTIFUL! Kristen, it reminds me I need to go off somewhere and just visit with my maker.
Time for a little drive Lisa!
LOL Jeanne and Ralph. The sea does show a lot of different sides. We feel fortunate to be so far north.
Sounds like a plan Bob. Every area has it's own "sea." Sometimes, its a mountain, a valley, a lake, or even just a little field.
Wow! Thank kind of left me speechless, which is a difficult thing to do! Amazing photo, I could see myself hanging out there.
Too funny. I think you'd love it. The photo shows what you get to do while waiting for your table at the Dolphin Restaurant in Harpswell. Not a bad way to spend 20 minutes or so.
The only thing that would make it better would be waiting there with YOU, I know we'd have a great conversation and a wonderful time.
I would truly enjoy that Roger. :-)
Me too! ;~)
Kristen: What an absolutely beautiful view. Some folks have to drive for hours and hours to take in a sight like that... and you have it close nearby. How wonderful for you! Great photo.
Thank you Karen Anne. We remind ourselves of that daily and try not to take it for granted. I like the mountains too, but nothing beats time by the ocean for me. My parents live not too far from us and have a right of way down to the ocean from their home. I always thought that was a pretty smart move. For anyone looking to cut down on having to travel, the quickest way is to live near the ocean and then the family will always come to you. :-)
