Have you every wanted to have your own domain name?  If so click on my three minute (or so) video on how to search for a domain on Godaddy and own it!  It is pretty easy to purchase a domain name and Godaddy makes it pretty simple and straightforward.  Now I now some of you may say but you are a Tech Guy so of course it's easy.  But if you watch this short clip, you TOO can become and expert in domain purchasing (i now it's a craft that many seek but only few choose to take the challenge!!!)

So before running off to buy your domain do some homework first.   Think of what it is your are trying to get across to those who are searching the internet.  Are you an agent selling real estate in Austin, Texas?  Maybe an area of town you specialize in?  Try and make your domain relevant to what you do...keywords that people search for when they want to find your services.  Now obviously some of the best names are probably already taken but use some imagination and give it a try.  You never know - the one idea you have might actually be available and if its special enough - lock it up for many years.  

I will be posting other videos on this topic later but I figured this was a good starter.  In my video i mentioned real estate but if you do something other than that than replace my words with 'your job' or 'your specialization'....I was doing this video for my agents in the office who asked 'how do i buy a domain'!!!
