Brighton Rec State Park, also known as Brighton Recreation Area, is close to Brighton, Genoa Twp and Hamburg Twp, MI. There is something for everyone including:

Even if you have never been on a horse before, they work with beginners like my teenage daughter who was scared of horses and rode a horse there recently.
I love to hike the Brighton-Kahchin Trail which is 2 miles. Here is a photo of me hiking in the woods on this trail:
