13 Comments on Technology I Use to Help You Sell Your Home
Jeff ~ technology is making it easier for all involved. I just took a Tech training class and the Dropbox app was one the instructor strongly encouraged. Now I understand the QR codes and plan to implement immediately.
Hi Jeff,
Amen..Amen.. love individual websites, QR codes, drop Box. Sugar Sync, Docusign..we are on the same wave length!!
Kristal
Good for you! There is a ton of stuff we can use. I find that I often have to educate sellers about some of the technology and how it can work for them, but I sure won't force it on them. Ihave had a couple that do not use email at all so the traditional stuff still works.
Jeff
Jeff;
You're right. I can't absorb the advancments quick enough. Check out dotloop.com for a new and very slick integrated use of technology. I'm in commercial and we seem to be lagging behind on the use of technology 'in the transaction'. I'm finding easy ways to enlarge my footprint as an agent in a small form, in a pond fullof big fish.
Hi Jeff, I use most of these tools, just have not embraced the QR codes yet.
Dorie - there is so much we can use and more and more all the time. Whatever makes life easier and faster, right? As long as our clients are comfortable or we can make them feel comfortable.
Dan - hey, thanks for that tip, I will check it out.
Jeff
Kathy - well I think you have to be careful HOW you use them and that they send people to the right spot. I think they can be overdone, and just may not work as well in all makret segments.
Jeff
This is a good exercise. I should put into writing all of the technology that we use in order to faciliate a home sale. Dropbox---my new love ;-)
Jeff hard to believe it was not that long ago when we had to do everything by hand and there was not Technology like today, one of the benefits of the Internet!
Jeff -- the technology is a great tool. I think both buyers and sellers benefit. My question is how do you protect the seller if you have a qr code that has virtual tour that may be used by those who want rob the home. I have had some sellers very nervous about this!
Melissa - I agree. And why not use that info in a marketing piece to sellers?
Endre - so true. Things are changing so fast it's hard to keep up. And some tech things really are NOT necessary
Good question, Joan. But anyone who wants can go onto Realtor.com, as just one example, and find the addresses of homes and see tours, as well as homes that are vacant or appear to be. It there is a sign in the yard chances are the home is listed on Realtor.com and not any diffferent from a QR code. Or am I missing something?
Jeff
Technology is not everything, but in this day and age it is the major tool for reaching the most people and managing the process of buying and selling a home smoothly. You certainly area well armed, Jeff.
Jeff - you set yourself apart from the rest! You definitely work smarter and not harder for your sellers!
