- The centerpiece of this community is the 18-hole Ben Wright redesigned golf course. The course meanders though the valley intertwined by creeks and small ponds with mountain laurel, Rhododendron and Dogwoods. Athough challenging it is hard to not relax and have a great time in such a natural setting.
- The grand lodge-style clubhouse is top shelf. The bottom floor offers causal dining at the sports bar & grill, the Cherokee Grille. Unfortunately, the elegant fine dining restaurant, the Sequoyah, is closed.

Beyond many community amenities Mountain Harbour is an incrediablely beautiful valley. The natural surrounding beauty provides a picturesque way of life. Deer, turkeys and occasionally bears have all visited the valley. Close by is miles of hiking and horseback riding in the vast half-a-miliion acre Nantahal National Forest.
