Santucci's is a little Italian Deli in the Woodmoor Shopping Center on Colesville Road, Four Corners, Maryland.  This place has the best subs ever!  It's been here as far back as I can remember.  It's better than Quiznos, Subway, Jerrys or any other "chain" sub place around.  The flavor is homemade, NY italian deli meat, special seasonings, really good italian bread and attention to detail.  They take their subs seriously here and it shows.  


The best bet is the italian cold cut sub - IMHO, It is truly out of this world!



Santucci's also sells ingredients for italian dishes, dry pasta, tomatoes, cherry pepper relish, cookies, biscotti, pre -prepared pasta dinners, meats and cheeses

Inside Santucci's Silver Spring

Two friends of mine, (New York Transplants) to Silver Spring, swear by Santucci's.  
They say that Santucci's is the closest to an authentic Italian Deli like home.  

One friend (from New York) was searching all over the area for ingredients she was always able to buy in New York for her Italian Cooking and finally found them at Santucci's.  They also have the "correct" lady fingers for an Italian dessert she makes at Christmas.  

Another friend visits Santucci's when he's feeling homesick for New York.

Debbie:  Great.  Now I've got this incredible yearning for a Santucci's Deli sub.  Yum.  Hmmm... I bet if I left soon, in eight or so hours I could be there.  Oh, do I love authentic Italian Deli food.

OK, I'm holding you accountable. Since I moved to MD from NJ in 1991, I haven't had a "good" Italian Sub, or a "decent" slice of pizza. Santucci's is on my radar now, and I'm not that far away.

Santucci's sounds like a wonderful place to visit when in Silver Pring Maryland. Now, the real debate is: is it a Hoagie? A Sub? A Grinder? I find them all the same...depending on what city I am in!
