23 Comments on Nature taking a break: Wordless Wednesdays, well almost wordless!
Endre -- great photo! We have had a spike of bears rambling around in the foothill areas -- they especially like swimming pools, spas and unattended food.
Jennifer nice to know bears enjoy a nice bath in some fresh water:)
Michael I knew about food, but was not aware of pools and spas!
Adorable Photos - Thanks for sharing - Bears can be real clowns.
Debbie, when I received the photos I could hardly believe my eyes, very cute & funny:)
Even bears need to cool down during the day. Great pictures Endre.
I want to see a bear! Not up close and personal or anything! I have a zoom lens! :) maybe this week in Colorado .
Hi Endre - Those photos are from Nederland, just up the road from Boulder. Because of a very dry spring and summer, along with habitat loss from wildfire, we're seeing a lot more animals down at lower elevations right now. We have a small black bear hanging around our neighborhood - mostly eating apples.
Tom, I am so with you on this, yesterday it was even hot in Marina Del Rey, I could have enjoyed being in the Rain Barrel provided the star of the picture was not there:)
Joni, yes it would be great for your portfolio via Zoom Lens!
Endre - What a great way to cool down this summer!
Dick thank you for the clarification, I knew you would know:) since it was in your part of world!
Indeed Laura!
HAHAHAHA...I love these pics and like you, I find it hard to write truly "wordless" posts! Hope you have agreat Labor Day Weekend!
Endre-When you see a bear up close it really sinks in how small we are in comparison. I'll just keep my distance.
Russell have to enjoy life like this bear:))
Wayne I agree it is good to keep a distance!!
This would be a great way to cool off! Smart bear. Hope you are having a wonderful holiday weekend!
Endre, the nice thing about Alabama is that I don't have to face something that will eat me...usually!
Ron he is not your average Bear:))
Funny Nick:))) ps thanks for the support on the Victory contest!!
Endre - these are so cute; thank you for sharing the pictures. They brought a Sunday smile!
Toni I thought it was hysterical, could you imagine the home owner's face?:))
That is just way too cute! Animals are great in putting that smile on our faces. So glad you shared this!
Jennifer I was so happy when I got these pictures I could hardly wait to post them!
