The First Annual Home Staging Talent Contest

I'm very fond of and admire The Home Stagers of ActiveRain.  They are fun, funny, lively, entertaining, helpful, supportive, educational and extremely good at what they do, which is Stage Homes.  

To show my personal appreciation, I've decided to recognize Home Stagers and highlight their talent
by hosting and promoting The First Annual Home Staging Talent Contest.

ANYONE can enter the contest, even if you're not a Professional Home Stager

There will be 5 challenges and 3 Winners for each challenge.  You do not need to participate in all 5 challenges unless you are competing for The Grand Prize, which will be announced with the Third Challenge.  Every challenge will allow at least a week for completion.

All Winners will be selected based upon their ability to meet the challenge, originality and presentation.

This is a performance and skills contest with tremendous online exposure for every participant. 

Individual Winners and The Grand Prize Winner will be featured in a special recognition post with their photo and links to their Profile, Blog and Website.  Do you see the potential for online exposure?

The First Annual Home Staging Talent Contest will begin on October 1, 2012, the theme will be Halloween.

Outdoor Beautification

Before and After

Making a Big impression is easy when working with an abundance of space, however, your challenge is to make a BIG impression with very little space. 

Using a small circular patio table, take a Before Photo of it's current condition, Enhance and Stage the table with no more than 3 objects, with or without a table cloth, place it anywhere outdoors and take an After Photo.  Write a post including both photos and place a link to your post in the comment section of The First Annual Home Staging Talent Contest.  Before and After Photos without Staging and Presentation 

Don't forget, the first challenge will begin on October 1, 2012, will you be ready?

Maureen, Roger and Joanna, from what I understand is there are 5 individual contest/challenges. Only the first one is a Halloween theme. I got that from one of his comments on his post. I was confused too as I thought the whole thing was Halloween related. I am not a big Halloween person and most of us stagers oppose themes. You can participate in all five contests or just one, etc. Each individual contest will have winners. I will be skipping the Halloween one too so I hear you. 

It will be fun to watch if nothing else John!

Hi Everyone!  First of all...Shar, Thank you for Re-Blogging this post and sharing it with your 10,000,000 Friends, Followers and Subscribers. Hopefully, others will do the same.   

Just to be clear: There will be 3 Winners in each of 5 Challenges, but only 1 Grand Prize Winner.  Each Challenge will be unique and unrelated to any other challenge.   Just completing a Challenge will benefit a participant.

The Halloween Theme Challenge and other 2 Holiday Theme Challenges should not frighten off any wanna be participants. ;-)  These are specifically included to provide each participant with Timely Timeless Post Titles for recurring holidays which should include Keywords like decorations, holiday, catering, parties, decor, "Home Decorating" and other Keywords that may directly connect to Home Staging.  (More to come on that)
