12 Comments on A great old yearbook ad from Searcy AR and a good advertising sign for Cloverdale.
Love it, as you do, Barbara. but best of all, love the "outfit" Jawanda is wearing. Don't forget the shoes: looks like swede loafers to me. I'm sure Don can hone in closer and identify the shoes!
Anita, I'll bet they were penny loafers of some kind. I'll bet there was a collar around the neck too.
Sorry Anita. I only do miracles Mon - Thur. A "hone in" shows what looks like laces so maybe not loafers.
Good guess though. Looks like she has on a sweater sans collar, Barbara.
I was interested in Anita's term "hone in" and looked it up.
Definition of HONE IN
Usage Discussion of HONE IN
Honing in on a fight between Anita and Don would be such great fun!! Was this Jawanda's dad? That was the big question.
Barbara-It is fun looking back at old pictures and this one is fun to see the changes over the years.
Pat, I think that old yearbooks will be tomorrow's treasures...it they are not already.
Ms. Anita, I understood what you were saying without a dictionary or urban dictionary or time capsule.
Mr. Don, I'm surprised...now we must make an appointment to recieve a miracle...next it will only be from 2 to 4 in the afternoon...but it won't keep us from expecting our miracle, it's too late for that...we already know what you are capable of doing...haha.
Ms. Barbara, don't you love it when folks answer everything but the question you asked...that happens around my world.
I really enjoyed the post and comments this time...I guess I needed a little laughter today...
Debbie, Ms. Anita and Mr. Don are always good for a few laughs. I guess you've heard the term, "Duke it out", and that is what they may sometimes do. LOL
Miz Debbie always says something to titilate the ticklebox also.
Anita is too busy getting ready for their big trip to the big Fullerfest coming up to spar with me. See this.
I'll be leaving The Island at Holiday Isles tomorrow. The blog seems to be stuck on Cloverdale.
Barbara has asked me to do a blog on a metal sculptor up here in Eureka Springs and I will try to comply so she can re-blog. It will be about his house that he practically built single handed using curved 2X4's.
Let's encourage everyone to go in and see the Fullerfest article. He must have been a great teacher. So go to Don's comment and click on his "this."
Thank you Barbara and Don: Bob WAS a fantastic teacher. One in a lifetime for many students. He could take a handful of people, singing, and make them sound like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. (slight exaggeration )....
Anita, what an honor. Not many people from Arkansas get invited back for a festival in their honor in a far-off state. That was a nice article for a man very deserving of all the praise he receives. And look who has been beside him all the way! Our own Anita Tart Hart Fuller who also deserves honors. And I am not even saying "LOL." Have fun and enjoy the trip.
