Looking for what to do this Labor Day? Come join the Orange County Cruisin' Association as they celebrate their 30th Anniversary Great Labor Day Cruise to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project! The event will take place at the Orange County Fair & Event Center from August 31 - September 2nd. What is the Great Labor Day Cruise?
Well, it all began in 1982 when a group of street riders decided to get together and hold an event dedicated to their passion of automobiles.
The event started out small, with only a few autos and a small space at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California. Today, we continue to be one of the largest and longest running 3 day events in the nation and one of a few that can offer non-stop cruising around a 1.25 mile cruise route set up at the 150 acre venue.
OCCA is a Not-For-Profit, Volunteer based 501 (C)(3) Organization.
Proceeds from the Great Labor Day Cruise are donated to various charities that in the past have included: Drug Use is Life Abuse, Kristies Foundation, Wounded Warriors Foundation and many others.
2012 will mark our 30th anniversary of that September weekend way back when it all started. Come on out and enjoy a relaxing weekend, with food, cars, entertainment and fun for the whole family.
