Have you ever gone skiing and as you approach the lift you hear that familiar shout out........SINGLE........???  Well as a single Realtor in the Harbor Country area of Michigan, I am sometimes asked what is one of the reasons for my success as a REALTOR.  A very staid yet deafening reply is usually.....I'm single!  I'm not running anyone to soccer, school, work, the store, the beach etc.  I do not have to answer to anyone as to why I'm checking market statistics at 3:22AM.  If I want to sleep in until noon on any particular Tuesday, I can, but I would never.  Dinner's are usually eaten at the bar of a local restaurant, eyes on the corner television.  Any single, attractive, good humored fellow REALTORS out there?  This aint craigslist now, so no so/so pictures please!

Sounds like my life... and somehow even without kids, soccer practice, etc. I still don't have enough hours in the day.  At least when I am in bed with my laptop and blogging at midnight there is nobody saying "Honey, turn off the @#$% laptop and go to sleep, your typing is keeping me awake!" :)

Even being in a relationship where we are both self employed and working from home, with no kids - only dogs - there are still not enough hours in a day to get everything done.  And yes, there are times when I am up late taking care of business and sometimes my partner is up late or out of town.  It's good and healthy to be driven, motivated, and have focus!  Its even better to have balance and in love!  I wish you the best!

When I first saw your Title I thought Huh, looks like a personals Ad.  As I read on....I had to laugh.  You are right.  Being single happy and free is a definite leg up in the biz.  I also check stats at around 3 a.m.  I have a sinking suspicion that you will not be single too long.  All the Best-Mike

Fun post.  I'm sure if you didn't want to be single you wouldn't be.

All the best!

Single, good humored...and attractive is in the eye of the beholder!  I've sold homes to men I didn't date...that's something!!

Mario - don't overlook the possibility of finding a partner or soul-mate online.

I met my partner on match.com (or maybe it was gay.com - the details have blurred over time)-  and we've been together for over 5 great years:)

Steve, some of the people I've debated with have more anger and fury than love:)

But seriously, that's a good question to blog about.

That's why you need to drag you significant other into the business with you!  Then, both of you are truly vested in the success.
