Great information, Andrea. Thank you for making it available to our community. It is part of what I enjoy about Active Rain…the willingness of members to share.
Nicely done. I did not know you could do that with Excel. Of course now that I know that, it will take me a while to actually make it work!
THanks for a great tutorial, Andrea. You've made it look so easy. I do a lot with excel except for graphs so I'm pleased to have learned another feature that has applicability! I think there are others here on AR who use it as well.
Jeff
Very nicely done Andrea and great information!!! Thanks so much for sharing!
Very nice job on video with your tutorial. Many people do a far more confusing job on easier topics. I can't wait to try this. :)
Thank you for taking the time to show us!
Hi Andrea, we do something similar but copy and paste into Publisher and save as a jpg.
Great screencast Andrea! Providing visual info really keeps the readers interested.
Andrea, thank you so much for taking the time to do this video and share with us how you do graphs in Excel. I can't wait to plug my own data in and make it work. I appreciate it!
I use Open Office - because I am cheap and it is free. It works like office and I will play around to see if I can do better graphs. I use the Snipping Tool that came with the computer to get a JPG of the graph.
Thanks for the great post.
This is fantastic thank you so much for sharing it with us... Beth
AWESOME!
I was recently thinking about taking an online class to learn how to do graphs and a few other things in excel. Well forget that! You just showed me. I generally learn all software by playing around and teaching myself, but just haven't had the time to investigate excel more. Thank you so much!!!
Thanks, Andrea. You just took the reason I don't do these out of the equation!
Andrea:
Please give us more instructional videos. I think you have future there. You instructions are so clear and and easy to understand anyone can create good looking charts. Thanks
Hi Andrea,
Thanks for sharing, have bookedmarked to use in the new future.
Andrea, I just stopped by via Evelyn Kennedy's reblog of this post and have bookmarked it. This does take a little of the mystery out of Excell and making graphs.
Wow, thanks everyone! Hope you were able to put this to some use for yourselves. Happy Graph-ing!
Thanks Andrea, I get my charts directly from my MLS provider, but I never knew that you could insert a graphic behind the chart in Excel. Thanks for the tip!
Just came back to this so I can try something thanks again
