Quiet Morning Down on the River
I had a chance to go down to the River near Coloma this morning. A few short months ago the water was flowing rapidly, but now things have slowed to a slow calm pace. It was great to take a little time on this Labor Day!
Tom: That sure looks like such a peaceful setting. Quiet, calm, secluded... what a great place to forget about all your cares and woes... if only for a moment.
It sure did me a lot of good this morning Karen. I have to remember to do this regularly.

Such a peaceful photo. It does make me want to skip stones across that smooth surface.
I know that spot, Tom! Why is it everytime I'm in that area, I want to look down into the water, pull up something that I see shining brightly, and hold it in my fist to the air and yell, "EUREKA!"
There are plenty of flat stones on the shore Paula.
I haven't found any gold there yet Myrl, but we can dream can't we?
