If you have always dreamed of skiing right from your door - or at least minutes from home, you need to consider living in Jackson, NH -a world famous classic New England Ski Town, rich in ski history. Badger Realty is located in Picturesque Jackson Village right across from the Snowflake Inn and next to the Wildcat Tavern. Right now there are two condos offered trail side on the Wentworth Golf Course. Condos at the Wentworth aren't always on the market, and when they do hit, they usually go fast. One unit has been recently upgraded and remodeled, and the Wentworth does have an on site rental program if you don't plan on living there full time. (Some Scenery from "Around Jackson" on 1/15) This afternoon I was on assignment to photograph this new listing, (photos below) and thought why not enjoy one of the many reasons why I live here - so I grabbed the skinny skis and into the woods we went. You can ski from Jackson Village up to the Eagle Mountain House. It was sundown, so as the light crept behind Green Hill we zoomed around the Golf Course at the Eagle and then headed back to the Village. There are many levels of Nordic Skiing available at Jackson Ski Touring and they do offer lessons. If you live here, or visit on Fridays you should join the Friday Gliders Social Ski... after all, why not apres! Ski, wine, massage... it just keeps getting better and better - Jackson NH - it's where you want to be! Call Meghan at Badger Realty to hear more about residential offerings in Jackson. 603-356-5757 or meg@badgerrealty.com

The closest thing here in Texas is the Elliptical glider.  hahaha.   I use to ski up in Wisconsin when I lived there.

Skiing and winter definitely isn't for everyone... a lot of people here are "Snowbirds" and head South to FL and NC for winter :)

Welcome to AR ! I'm here on your blog cause Monika sent me :)

Have a great time in the Rain and good job for getting your first blog up and going!  I used to ski a lot in Idaho, some in Germany and New Mexico - haven't found a good East Coast spot (or time!)

Welcome to AR Meghan,

This video is really neat and makes me really want to learn how to ski.  Ofcourse I know I'm too old and too out of shape to do that BUT.....it really is a great video.  Much luck and success to you here in the Rain as well as in Real Estate!  We love NH and tell Monica and Jay all the time how jealous we are of how nice it is there.  :)
