2012-08 Month End Uxbridge Real Estate - Buyers Activity Report

Statistics from one of my listing web sites indicate the number of all listings viewed is up slightly over 80% from August of 2011 despite the fact that we drive traffic to a newer listing site with more listings

In looking at the chart below you will notice the average value of homes viewed is slightly lower than last month but is still up over the same month last year. This is not necessarily an indicator that values are Rising or Falling ..... it is simply a reflection of the values of properties that are currently being viewed.

The Two graphs below represent the average and median price range of homes that potential buyers are looking at on one of my web sites.

Listings Viewed

With four months left the number of listings viewed is already in excess of the total number viewed in 2011 despite the fact that we drive traffic to our newer listing site that features more listings.

Hi Kathy,

Interesting stats and graphs. Do you think the GTA and near vicinity property prices will decrease, stay the same, or rise slightly in the coming few years?

Hi Jo - My crystal ball is a little cloudy but I will go out on a limb here and say they will continue to rise in the near future

Kathy,

I tend to agree with you. My feeling is that properties in the GTA and near vicinity will continue to rise slightly due to the influx of immigrants.
