If you run a web site, then you have content pages within it. Being familiar with what the HTML authors have put together for you in reference to the website, that was created, is very important. You will want to have a list of pages within your website by their URL names.

Then you would pick out the key words that you wish to amplify for your viewing audience. Things that would be of interest in someone wanting to know more about the property, the community, you or your company.

Ok, so there is the stuff that I want to link back to "mother". I split the screen when I am doing this so I have the mother site on one side and the property entry information page on the other. I will compose the text about a particular property, or blog, or real estate report, or market view, anything, then I will break it down to see if there are things that the viewer will find informative on our main website.
****IMPORTANT It is important to note that your mind set has to be in the realm of wanting to provide a service, not doing this in an attempt to increase your hits on some web search engine. If you are writing and hyperlinking to increase hits, sites like Google pay huge amounts of money for technology that would remove you from coming up on their search engine.
In doing this you have also tackled another issue. Even when I was writing this blog, I discovered that there are parts of my Mother site that need to be worked on to have a clearer presentation. So all I have to do is to drop an e-mail or call those folks at my HTML author, Linkusystems and they will take care of it. So you are constantly writing about what you represent. That adds value to you and your business.
To some this will sound quite simple and is already known. I did not write this for those people that are already past this stage. Remember, I was a LAPD Motor Cop for the past 17 years and my blinders have just been removed. For those of you that this Helps - I am Honored!
