This morning I was treated to a gorgeous view of the Cascade Mountains passing through Everett on my way to Marysville. The weather lately has been perfect to say the least, well at least to me, because on Wednesday the tempature dropped and moisture came in to give us another dosing of snow.
It only snowed a few inches at my place in Kirkland and even in Marysville but having tempatures in 20s has kept the snow around despite the blue skies of yesturday and today. As I was traveling up I-5 the sky was clear and the mountains stood out beautifully, Glacier Peak, Three Fingers and Mount Pilchuck graced the horizon with a fresh blanket of pearly white snow.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am self proclaimed ski junkie and anytime I can break away from real estate I go skiing either at Stevens Pass, Whistler/Blackcomb and now Mt Hood. Today the mountains were calling my name...Toby come ski on us...Work can wait...You know you want too.

I swear someone was telling me to go skiing today and not work but it could just be my wild imagination. The views here in Washington are the best and forgive me if I keep going on and on about them but it is really true.
It is supposed to stay cool for the next couple of days and maybe get some more snow tomorrow, if the tempature doesn't go up to much. Stevens Pass and Mt Baker are recording massive amounts of new snow for all the snow riders to enjoy and the rest of the season should be so good.
Well it is blue sky outside and I am in the office...maybe it is a great day to take off early. Everyone knows when it is nice in the Pacific North West it is a perfect excuse to leave work early.
Its freezing here in Las Vegas. Coldest temperatures since 2002. -Charles
