Free Admission - NC Aquarium

We have a three day holiday coming up this week-end for most people with the celebration of Martin Luther King's birthday on Monday, January 21st.

What do you have planned?  The kids will be out of school and you know that by about 10 A.M, they will be bored and you will be trying to think of ways to entertain them.

What if I told you there is something you can do that is                                                             Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores NC

  • Free

  • Entertaining

  • Educational

  • Enjoyable for kids and adults
  • Works no matter what the weather is like

What can that be you ask?

The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores will be open to the public on Monday with NO ADMISSION FEE.

If you have not visited the Aquarium since it was renovated, you are in for a real treat. It is the pride of
Eastern North Carolina.  There are daily programs, shows and hands on activities.

Not only was it nice of the Aquarium to provide an opportunity for the kids on their day off, I like how you provide this informationi for those in your area looking for quality things to do on Monday.

Hi Julie,
It is a great place to take the kids.  They especially enjoy the otters, they are so much fun to watch.

Elizabeth,
You must come on down and visit.  It is a wonderful aquarium which features the different area of North Carolina  and aquatic life in the areas.

Thanks Barbara, I've learned a few things from you!

Linda,
It is a great sculpture,  I should have made the photo larger....maybe I'll do that.

Marchel,
So do we.  I must admit we are spoiled....my parents buy an annual family membership which we can use anytime.

Hello Kimberly,
Isn't it great that there will be no cost to get in?  Actually, they do that on lots of major holidays.

What a great aquarium! I sure do miss my in-law's home on Pine Drive down in PKS...beachfront and over 3K in HLA...I hate they sold it- Even more, that they wouldn't give me a referral (Did I mention they are now my ex-in laws :[  )

Hi Candy,
They are fun for the entire family.  We have visited several and never have been disappointed.

Hello Michele,
Pine Drive is just down the street from my parents home, I bet they know you ex-in laws.  Too bad about the referral.  Many of the older homes have been torn down and replaced with new, bigger homes.

Hi Cynthia,

I've missed you! Are all the nc aquariums free today? I would go over to the one at Ft Fisher if its. I guess I just need to check. Hoping to cross paths more regularly.....
