Heritage Days in Sacajawea Park Sept 28 and 29th, 2012
Here a fun yet educational and FREE (Sat) event for you at Sacajawea Park just east of Pasco. This is the 10th annual Heritage Days. This uniqe event brings together 20 organizations to participate and support it. There are re-enactments of Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery, Mountain-man re-enactment camps and many interesting demonstrations. Thses incluse a working antique steam engine, traditional crafts and pioneer trail coocking.
Saturday is the general public day where the event is free and no passes are needed. There will be a stage show from 12-2:30 including "tall Tales" and old-time music. The populur campfire program is back with sory telling and more music that starts and dusk and runs til about 9 pm.
It sounds like good fun with a little history snuck in.
