Should Master Bath Tub be visible from Master Bed?

There is never a perfect "home."  It sounds like this is a buyer who would change something no matter how well the floor plan works.  My vote on the bathtub with a "view" is that the owner would like to be laying in a body of water (such as a swimming pool, hot tub, etc. looking out over the ocean.  Have $ will try!

I helped my client get a great ocean view property at the end of last year and he has been talking with an architect about a remodel. He wants to incorporate the current trends in floorplan and design.

My client and I have both talked a lot about a home design good for resale value. There is a Master Suite to his property with an amazing Panoramic Ocean View.  The bath is located adjacent to the bedroom away from the view. He would like to open the wall so the bathroom tub will have a view as well.

Should a bathroom be visible from Master Bed?

In his case, he may have the tub raised above the floor to allow a good view while sitting in the tub. Where the picture is taken would be a great view.  I also wonder if the view from the Master Bed will be diminished if its not "head on" and from the side. It changes the layout of the entire room.  Currently the entrance to the room would be to the left of the bath in this picture.

Palos Verdes is a bit more conservative and may not be acceptive of this type of bathroom design, so I wanted to ask my fellow agents what do you think?

Hmmm...since I don't soak that long in the tub, I may not want to go to the that expense.  However, if that is what someone wants, could be cool.
